Merris has an extensive background in the fashion industry including visual window display, merchandising and retail management. She left the clothing industry after 15 years to pursue a career in the beauty salon industry.

 

She has been a nail tech since 1991 mastering the art of natural looking synthetic nails.

Merris also specializes in the removal of ingrown toenails.

 

In 2004 she completed a two-week reflexology course in Bangkok Thailand. Returning to Florida she attended Florida College of Natural Health in Miami to become a certified reflexologist.
